Milkweed Bug

Oncopectus fasciatus

Description:

Black and Orange bug that is likely laying eggs. It feeds on plants that have poisonous sap, thus the bright color as a warning. See them more often on Milkweed

Habitat:

Just a couple of these on your plants are not bad, but a multitude can kill your plant. If you need to rid yourself of some of them put a bucket of soapy water near the plant and shake the bugs off into the water.
