You are one of of few those give some time for such over-known and neglected insect stays nearby human habitat. I was think about it to take spotting of it many times. But my camera do not support such very small insects so it is still pending in my desired list.

Nice spotting... of a small fly... you can try more pictures if possible with reducing brightness or aperture of your camera.
