Description:

This species grows to a maximum radius of approximately 27 cm.

Habitat:

Widespread in Indo Pacific Ocean lives in shallow waters at depths of up to 40 metres. It can be found on rubble slopes and coral reefs.

Notes:

Other names include cushion seastar and doughboy star.
