This species grows to a maximum radius of approximately 27 cm.
Widespread in Indo Pacific Ocean lives in shallow waters at depths of up to 40 metres. It can be found on rubble slopes and coral reefs.
Other names include cushion seastar and doughboy star.
You had the name correct but I just thought you would like to have the species name as well?
