Hippopotamus amphibius
My Brother went to Pennsylvania, for two weeks, during the holidays, to visit some of his relatives. One day, my Brother, his Grandson, and his Granddaughter, all went to visit the "Adventure Aquarium", which is located in, Camden, New Jersey. All three of them, spent the day, visiting the different exhibits, at this aquarium. One exhibit that they had there, was called "Hippo Haven". They had two Hippos there. Two, massive, Nile Hippos. ( 3,000 lbs. each ). Size up to 5.5 feet tall. The Hippo, is a Mammal. My Brother, took some photos of these two, Nile Hippos, and my Brother, gave me all his photos, to use anyway that I like.
Rivers and lakes, with surrounding grasslands, of sub-Saharan Africa.

Thank you, Neil Ross....
It's not often we get to see hippos underwater, particularly in clear water. Thanks to your brother for the photos, and thanks for sharing them. I've seen hippos in the wild, and 3,000 lbs. of solid animal is quite frightening when you see it up close. They are animals that no one wants to mess with. Despite their "smile", they don't really have a good sense of humour.
Thank you, The MnMs....
Pretty animals :-)
