Abyssinian cat

Description:

Abyssinian cats are one of the most popular short haired cat breeds in North America. They come in four official colour types : ruddy, blue, sorrel and fawn. Over the years, we have seen silver coats. But, their coats always have a special ticking colouring meaning that one hair has many bands of colour, from light to dark. They are a very social breed, nothing to do with the typical independant housecat ! They really REALLY are nosy little creatures.

Notes:

Pictures are from some of my abbys... Osiris (ruddy) and Akasha (silver) in the first picture, Nefertiti (ruddy) in the second, a closeup of Osiris in the third and Pampanette (silver) in the last.
