Description:

Well known for its painful bite. A member of the Assassin bug family its uses the fang on the front of its head to attack its prey hitch are other insects. It will also use this fang to attack humans who disturb or handle it. Works mainly from summer into fall. Gets its name from the spiny wheel on its back.

Habitat:

Lives mainly in leafy areas such as forests, parks, or shrubbery.
