Only a little nonsense! Look at "my" Coreidae...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogima.... John is a very good bug expert, so why Coreidae and not Alydidae??
I think my Coridae was definitely trash and nonsense (when and if it would be Coreidae). I don't know anymore where I have this name from. But Alydidae looks fine looking at the curved 4th segment of the antennae.
Well I think the family for Riptortus is Alydidae which is in the superfamily Coreoidea which also includes Coridae. http://coreoidea.speciesfile.org/Common/....
Since I looked at the other one I am "almost sure" (what ever that means...!?) that this one looks very similar (or is) to Coridae, Bean Bug.
