Turtle

Testudines

Description:

Shells and their skin was a dark green on color. They were too far away from me to get a close look and decide which type they were.

Habitat:

These were found in and around the pond at a nature preserve. There are several log and tree branches in and around the water that the turtles were sitting on. Some of the turtles were also swimming in the pond.

Yeah, that's what turtles do. Wonderful spotting, kryan.
