Bindweed sounds like a pain in the ass like duckweed

Bindweed is a terrible weed here as well. Some of my flower beds at work are infested with it. It's pretty much impossible to get rid of once you have it. It can root from any small roots left in the ground. Glad to see the insect get an ID.

I'm glad u asked, I think it is after a bit of research. my best guess for now is Convolvulus arvensis common bindweed. apparently its a very persistant weed in the uk
