Description:

Large, terrestrial slug. Beautiful mottled coloration. These native slugs are docile and can be found under bark and on trees during wet weather. This one may have just been laying eggs under a piece of loose bark.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
