Warty Leaf Beetle

Chlamisini

Description:

3mm long.

Habitat:

Grasslands, surrounded by mostly rural area

Notes:

I found this beetle on the leaf of a plant. I let it roll into my hand. As I started to take photos, it was curled up into a the shape you see in image 2. I was not entirely sure I was not photographing caterpillar poop. I held it still and eventually it unfolded its legs and began walking around my hand.
