I'm of the opinion that this is a Flesh Fly (Sarcophaga pachtyli). The abdomen on a house fly is yellowish, see spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/...

Thanks! I couldn't really see through my viewfinder as it was so dark until the flash. So I'm amazed I managed these shots at all. Haha.
