Ladybug Larva

Description:

Black with spikes, not a caterpilar because I can see 6 legs. About 2.5 cm long ( one inch). Looks like a nymph in the coccinellid subfamily Epilachninae

Habitat:

Oak and pine forest.

Looks like it might be some kind of ladybug larva - in the coccinellid subfamily Epilachninae
