Agama sp.
About 25 cm in length, mainly brown lizard, with greenish-bluish decorative pattern on head. I'm still not sure about the species, Agama agama or Agama africana, as apparently both species occur in Sierra Leone (and they quite look alike). However, the information about these two species in the country is patchy.... Here, a female.
Seen in coastal areas of Sierra Leone, in a half constructed house near a sandy beach, at the feet of hills covered in rainforest.
