Zootoca vivipara
The viviparous lizard or common lizard, Zootoca vivipara (formerly Lacerta vivipara), is a Eurasian lizard. It lives farther north than any other reptile species, and most populations are viviparous (giving birth to live young), rather than laying eggs as most other lizards do. (wikipedia)
The viviparous lizard is widely distributed throughout Europe and Asia. Its range extends to the north of the Arctic Circle. It ranges from Ireland to Hokkaidō and Sakhalin. It is absent from most of the Mediterranean area, although it occurs in northern Spain, northern Italy, Serbia, Republic of Macedonia , the United Kingdom and Bulgaria. It is also absent from the area surrounding the Black Sea. (wikipedia)

@ Maria dB: I was at a barbecue in the yard and I was trying to photograph a friend who was maintaing the fire when suddenly I noticed this lizard on a rock in front of me. It was something unexpected.
@MartnUrban: thank you , I will add to that mission. I didn't know it but now I do. :)
It's a nice picture! Maybe you want to add this to the 'Reptiles and Amphibians of Europe' Mission! http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1329...
