Paradise Tree Snake

Chrysopelea paradisi

Description:

This snake is mostly green with a red line (barely visible) running from its head to its tail. This snake was fairly small, probably 2 feet in length. It wrapped around our tour guide's hand almost like a boa and climbed the tree very quickly, moving from our view in a matter of seconds.

Habitat:

Mostly the understory of the dairy farm.
