Eastern Garter Snake

Description:

Brown with some yellow near bottom. Around 8 to 10 inches long. Likes the water and swims well.

Habitat:

The frog pond in my garden and the bricks that surround it.

Notes:

My son noticed this snake yesterday and has been watching for him constantly. It likes the bricks surrounding the pond although my son found him swimming in the pond.
