This insect native to China is an introduced species in Argentina. It is an efficient controlator of aphids in all types of vegetables, however its habits are rather arboreal. In spite of all its virtudes like biological controlator, it has some indeseables characteristics because it displaces some natives coccinellidae.
Sinonimia: Japanese ladybug - Harlequin ladybird. Vaquita multicoloreada asiática.
