Giant African Land Snail

Lissachatina fulica

Description:

Medium sized snails (smaller than french escargot) with spiral shaped shells. Out during the day but in wet areas.

Habitat:

Chiang Mai Thailand

Notes:

After some research I agree with Paul that this is likely Lissachatina fulica, an invasive/ pest species that is spreading worldwide.

I think these are immature -African Land Snails -Lissachatina fulica , which have become a widespread pest in South-east Asia.
