The Mourning Gecko

Lepidodactylus lugubris

Description:

Micro gecko only about a inch maybe. I have seen a few of them but this is the best picture I have. They jump quite far for their small size and I don't think they get much bigger than this.

Habitat:

I have seen them near our buildings probably hunting small bugs from the lights on the outside. Probably live on trees in the wild but I am not sure.

Notes:

Extremely Cute

I think this is Lepidodactylus lugubris https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lepidodact... but I'm no herpetologist so double check against other geckos that are found in Hawaii
