A species of chanterelle, judging from the golden color and continuous ridges on the stem.
This is definitely not a chanterelle. Look at the gills on the bottom of the mushroom cap. Chanterelles do not have true gills. Instead, they have blunt ridges that fork and run down the stem. These ridges are called "false gills". Often, there are veins in between the false gills, especially on bigger chanterelles. The mushroom in this photo has true gills, and looks more like an Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). Although oyster mushrooms are edible, this is not a positive ID, so don't eat it.
