Description:

Dense, rounded clusters/tufts of bright red to pink, tubular flowers. The stems have large, oval-triangular shaped leaves, which smell like mint when crushed.

Habitat:

Bordering a wet, mixed forest.

Notes:

Historically, Beebalm has been used as a medicinal plant by many Native Americans specifically for its antiseptic properties.
