Knight Anole (juvenile)

Anolis equestris

Habitat:

wooded areas, suburbs, it is arboreal (prefers tree canopies)

Notes:

Found this little fellow posing on top of the peace plant on my porch. In the last pic he decided I may be a threat so he flattened out against the flower in an attempt to blend in. QUESTION: Does anyone know if the females bury their eggs? I took a picture a few days prior of one smaller that was covered with soil (as if it had been in wet sand and it was stuck all over its body). I thought maybe it had hatched and dug its way out like a sea turtle.

My pleasure. I also added other juvies (insects, fish, etc. I had) I'll try to remember to keep an eye out for possible photo ops. for this mission.
