Description:

Small lizard. These guys were everywhere in Venice and on Murano Island. They are approximately 20 cm long from nose to tail. They are very fast and have some spotting.

Hi seaotter8! You most likely have the Common wall lizard here (Podarcis muralis), but it may also a an Italian wall lizard (Podarcis sicula), although these show more green and are more abundant in the South.
