Eastern Chipmunk

Tamias striatus

Description:

Chipmunks live all along the rock walls on our property. These provide good cover and shelter for them. They raise their young underground, and can have two litters per year. They use a high-pitched chirp as a warning call to others when they spot a possible threat.
