Blue Giant Hyssop

Agastache foeniculum

Description:

Flowers are a thick spike cluster of light blue to violet tubular flowers. The spikes are tightly packed with flowers. Not all of the flowers in the spike bloom at one time. Leaves have a rounded base, pointed tip, toothed edges, the stem is square.

Habitat:

Spotted on the Tamarac Blackbird Drive. It grows in sun, part shade, moist soil, sandy and well-drained soil.

Notes:

Blue Giant Hyssop is a member of the Mint family
