Peromyscus leucopus
White-footed mice are 90–100 mm (3.5–3.9 in) in length, not including the tail. They are brown above and light below with white feet. Ears are large and rounded.
Widely distributed.
I was set up to photograph birds at our birdbath when this mouse showed up to take a few sips. I was surprised by this as I've never seen a mouse at the ground-level birdbath before, but it has been extremely dry and this may force mice to find water more frequently or during daylight hours.
