Jewelweed

Impatiens capensis

Description:

One of our most common wetland wildflowers, it is an "irregular" flower exhibiting bi-lateral symmetry.

Habitat:

Facultative wetland species

Notes:

Native meadows are still full of great blooming flowers! These two flowers caught my eye, like two twins basking in the warm morning sun after a cool night with heavy dew.
