Eastern Tiger Salamander

Ambystoma tigrinum

Description:

Unfortunately found dead.. About 5.5 inches. Saw one similar to this one last year, also dead, during the beginning of winter. Apparently lived under the mud on my neighbors backyard.

Poor fellow. Sometimes they drown when there are really heavy rainstorms.
