Shovel Head Land Planarium

Bipalium kewense

Description:

A long worm with a flattened head. It was tawny with brown stripes. It was quite a bit stickier than the more commonly seen earthworm. No segments, it is a member of the "flatworm" family.

Habitat:

Their were three of them crawling across the sidewalk. I put them back in the grass where they wouldn't get stepped on.
