Japanese Lantern Flower

Hibiscus Schizopetalus

Description:

Bright Coral and Red Japanese Lantern Flower. Roughly 5 1/2 inches in length. About 2 1/2 inches in width. The flower blooms upside down and it hangs from the branches of a tree.

Habitat:

Found around other Japanese lantern flowers in the SAS Rainforest. Near forest floor when we found it.

Notes:

Fell from a tree and my tour group found it. We JUST had to take a picture of this beautiful flower.
