Good call! Looks like a female, based upon its coloration and terminal appendages. Nice spotting and very clear photos, especially for a damselfly (many digital cameras have difficulty focusing on such a small subject)!

I agree. I was confused because it quite large for a damselfly. I am thinking an Archilestes Grandis, maybe?

Oops! I retract my last comment. I should have looked at all of your photos before commenting, notice the two eyes are separated and the wings are spread. This individual appears to be some type of Spreadwing damselfly.
