Thank you for your suggestion, hudwit. I have looked at many images of both species and it appears to be a considerable amount of overlap. So I'm un sure which way to go. As with very many similar insect species I'm guessing there is a finer detail that I am overlooking. Any further help in distinguishing them would be greatly appreciated.
