Golden Eagle

Description:

This is Orla: a female captive-bred Golden Eagle. Large size. Long tail. Reddish brown feathers. Her wing span is magnificent. The last photo shows her handler...if there is a problem about a person's photo I will remove it but it is only a profile shot and you cannot see the face much.

Habitat:

Birds of Prey Centre at Loch Lomond. Orla is tethered now but is allowed to fly free at certain times of the year. Her cage is big and she has access to water and a bit of lawn with grass.
