Spotting

This genus comes in a wide range of colors. David Arora says of G lucidum... "cap varnished ... color variable: dark red to reddish brown, orange-brown, mahogany, or reddish black, but often ochre or yellowish toward the margin."

Thanks dlebauer, I was thinking that, yet hadn't seen such an orange Ganoderma.
