Amanda, I just Googled moonflower on our computer, since I can't seem to get it on my IPad currently. According to it, some of the Datures are sometimes called moonflowers, along with Nightblooming cerus and the ipomoea I mentioned earlier. I guess that's why they tell us to beware of common names. One person's moonflower may not be anothers.

Moonflower is Ipomoea alba, which is a morning glory. Its flower does look similar but it is a very different plant.
