Helmeted Guineafowl

I would guess the either escaped or wandered out of someone's yard or possibly were abandoned.

I don't know where they are from they just appeared in my yard today.

Hi Ed. Are these birds on a farm or someone's pets? These birds are originally from Africa. They can be found around the US as domesticated fowl (usually on farms and such).
