Hi Shannon, this is a very pretty female Mantis.

However, I don't think this is Stagmomantis carolina. Female Carolina Mantis have wings that do not cover the entire abdomen and the green ones have spots on the wings like this one:

This is more likely either Mantis religiosa (European Mantis) :

or Tenodera aridifolia sinensis (Chinese Mantid):

Did you happen to see the inside of the front legs near the body? Mantis religiosa has a black spot often ringed with white there.

I am leaning more towards the Chinese Mantid because of the yellow on the front legs but I am not absolutely sure.
