Bill, these insects are dead, but were alive when the fungus originally infected them. It must be a slow death.

So Tom, I'm assuming these insects are dead, correct? Forgive my ignorance, but I can't say I've ever seen an insect molded up like that. Can fungus take over while they are alive?
