Ring-necked Duck

Aythya collaris

Description:

Small duck. Smaller than the mallards swimming with it. Brown with slight crest on head.

Habitat:

Swimming in a fountain pond with dyed blue water in Mountain Park Ranch subdivision.

I keep trying to update the photos but it won't move and the duplicates won't stay deleted.

That's fine, you could move 4 to position 1 if you want, just drag them about in edit. So long as all of the Duck in question is visible. You can co ahead and add the ID details, they have been confirmed by 4 people already, that is the +4 in the suggestion box. You can change everything in Edit.

Hi AprilW and welcome to Project Noah. I have change the order of your pictures because the duck in the first picture has moved off-screen. It looks to me like a female Ring-necked Duck.
