Hi, "pygmy" refers to something that is small; and the species I posted is the smallest woodpecker in the Philippines. Its about the size of a eurasian tree sparrow. I hope you can also post a photo of the woodpecker that you have in your garden.

EricBuado...Why is it called a "pygmy woodpecker" I have something similar in my garden, but it looks to be a normal size!? What size is it?
