Boa constrictor

Boa constrictor

Description:

This is me and my 6 month old baby Bo. Her full name was Bo Diddley Speht after I worked and looked after the wonderful Bo Diddley in The Cavern Club; my favourite live gig to date. I was working in a local pub in Liverpool when two young lads asked if I wanted a rat snake. I definitely did! But the deal was I had to take all three, a king snake and this beauty too. She wasn't handled well from a hatchling so was a bit snappy when she was hungry. When the lads handed her over to me (with full tank and all accessories free)! I realised why when I saw big bite mark on their hands. But treat with respect and care she was always good with me and my housemates. Eventually though she became too big for my room and I didn't think it was fair, she needed a bigger playground. So I donated her to the Cheshire wildlife centre and now she has a huge lovely home and every season gets shown around schools to educate children.
