Description:

It is a native FL shrub or tree. It is an evergreen. It has a rusty looking appearance (especially on the underside of the leaf) on most of the plant mixed w/ its green aspects. Its flowers have a fragrance.

Habitat:

This plant is growing in a pine flat woods area in sandy soil. It is unfortunately growing along side the steps of the Flatwood Shelter w/ human traffic a threat to it.
