Please check out the link with the ID suggestion I made. This looks like an American Dagger Moth, not a Banded Tussock.

I do believe this is an American Dagger Moth caterpillar. http://bugguide.net/node/view/505

You can compare to the Banded Tussock Moth caterpillar here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/541

They do both come in yellow but the Banded Tussock has a different arrangement of lashes (the long hairs). See what you think.
