This looks like a species of Tiger Crane Fly (I don't know what they are called in Mexico), Genus Nephrotoma. I am not sure of the species in your area but it should give you somewhere to start.
They are pretty interesting insects. As adults they don't bite or sting (incapable of doing so). Most don't even feed. They usually live long enough to mate, lay eggs and die.
