Spotting

Description:

This box turtle was about 5" long with a tall plain colored shell. He had orange patterns on his head and front feet. I never saw his back feet.

Habitat:

Stream bank near a wooded area.

Notes:

We rescued the turtle from my dog and returned it to the bank of a dry stream next to our house where my dog discovered it.
