Spotting

Description:

It was slimy and cold on its back. It was yellowish, brown with black spots. It didn't move at all. It was probably an inch and a half long.

Habitat:

It was in a hollowed out stump. In a small shady area on a hill on Islesboro.

I've moved this slug from the Arthropod category to the Other category for you. Snails and slugs are Mollusks. Arthropods have an exoskeleton and jointed limbs in at least one phase of their life. Think dragonfly, bee, crab, and ant.
