There has been a sighting of one near the foothills. Did you report it to ebird?
No jellis.this was in Concord california in my neighborhood near YV road.
Was this at Black Diamond Mines? I usually see them there or Del Puerto Canyon this time of year. The rest I see in the deserts of southern CA or AZ
I've only seen one male ever, they are such pretty birds! Glad you got to see them :)
