Thanks for the comments ! I believe the coloring is the same in both males and females. These birds were fairly common at our recent visit to Botswana (Chobe NP and Moremi GR), and usually sitting alone in trees where they were easily spotted.
Wonderful spotting Lars!! I would like to know more about this bird! Is this a male breeding plumage?
