Argentine black and white tegu

Description:

The black and white Tegu reaches a length of up to 1.70 meters and a weight of up to ten kilograms . Usually, however, it reaches 1.50 meters and about seven kilograms. Has the wild T. merianae a larger proportion of black in coloration as originating from the breeding farms animals , with the juvenile age Olive top of the head . This coloration is camouflage because they fit as juveniles in the hunting ground of many predators .
